Purpose of website
This site has been created by The Newspaper Works as a service to the advertising, publishing and media industries.
We endeavour to provide information as accurately and efficiently as possible. However we always recommend that the users of this site check with individual publishers as necessary.
Member Registration & Privacy
Information obtained via registration to the The Newspaper Works website is used solely for membership and newsletter purposes. Information is properly protected and is not disclosed to external parties.
Members can choose to opt-out of newsletter communication via email with ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ in the subject line. Alternatively, you can click on the unsubscribe link of any newsletter communication you have received from us. If you have mistakenly received a newsletter or
an e-alert, please inform us and we will rectify the issue as soon as possible.
The Newspaper Works has two tiers of membership, enabling users to interact with content. General membership is open to anyone by registration allowing users to download files, such as PDFs, images and presentations.
The second tier of membership is strictly granted to discreet segment of our audiences who are affiliated to either APN, Fairfax, News Limited and WAN.

Newspaper Published Rates
All advertising ratse featured on the facts pages are effective 1st July 2007 to 30th June 2008, GST exclusive*, and current at the time of publication.
The new rates issued by publishers, for the period 1st July 2008 to 30th June 2009, will be updated upon release. In the interim, for further information please contact the relevant publisher.
Publishers reserve the right to amend rates without notification.
*Rates are exclusive of GST, with the exception of the Herald Sun and The Sunday Herald Sun.
Newspaper Schedule Generator
The Schedule Generator is intended for the sole purpose of assisting in the media planning process. Rates represented in the schedule are indicative only, and are not intended to be used for implementation purposes. Newspaper publishers are under no obligation to honour these rates.
Rates are based on common column centimetre formats or, where applicable, their closest modular equivalents. Rates are based on the casual level and run-of-book positioning, and do not account for premium, preferred or sectional placement.
Rates are exclusive of GST, with the exception of the Herald Sun and The Sunday Herald Sun.
The Newspaper Works always recommends that you contact your newspaper publisher sales executive at the earliest opportunity to discuss your campaign requirements.
