A topical ad following the ALP's ousting of Kevin Rudd which was created by Host for IKEA, has been announced as the June/July winner of the Could Be a Caxton competition.
Agency: Host
Client: IKEA
Creative Team: Wez Hawes, Josh Whiteman
Ben Welsh, executive creative director of M&C Saatchi and the judge of the June/July competition, said: "A great use of newspapers, it made me laugh".
Says Welsh: "Nike - a good adaptation of an international thought although it would have worked better if the logo line was top left, inviting you to fill it in. Bottom right it could be a case of over indulging in white space. View the Nike 'Write the Future' press ad here.
Pfizer - a cunning combination of medium and product." View hi-res PDF of the ad here.
The August /September Could Be a Caxton competition is now open for entries. It's free to enter and anyone can submit nominations.
