Vegemite unveils the name of their new spread with this full page newspaper ad.

In late June 2009, Kraft ran a series of teaser style press ads which introduced a new, cheesier, and nameless type of Vegemite spread.

Known only as ‘Name me', Vegemite encouraged Australians to christen the product, and over 48,000 entries later, the new name is iSnack2.0.

The new generation of Vegemite, which combines the traditional spread with cream cheese, was the result of last year's census, How Do You Like Your Vegemite? Running in July 2008, this campaign, which involved strip press ads, asked Australians how they liked to eat the product. Findings from over 300,000 participants showed that most people wanted a Vegemite that was easier to spread.
